Live in Isolation

There is this feeling that leaves you crippled, straining for another breath.

There is this feeling that plunges sharply, deeper than any other depth.

I know this feeling by pulse, by every passing movement,

I know this feeling hurts, pain without improvement.

To label this feeling, oh how I could possibly describe this?

To label this feeling is to sink beneath the abyss.

Don’t feed the truth lies, don’t ruin what has been done,

Don’t feed the truth lies, you cannot unravel what has been spun.

Instead, embrace the inevitable that trancends these strange lands,

Instead, live in isolation ’til someone understands.

Absolutely true. But the truth is freedom. You can’t unravel it but it cannot bind you either. Learn and move forward. Counter every negative thought with a positive one and you will see a difference 🙂

    Wonderful writing!

    • Thank you.
It’s definitely important to work with what you have instead of convincing yourself that it’s okay that everything’s gone wrong. You’re absolutely right – positive thought is needed to overcome this negativity and the thought that you didn’t get what you wanted. Sometimes the best thing to do is to work around it rather than trying to work at it.

      • I agree with everything you said except the “work around it rather trying to work at it.” The only way to get through something, is to go through it! But if you are able to stand back and look at the big picture, things become more clear. Even big, traumatic events, are but small paint strokes in the picture that is life. Just live and learn ❤
