Timeline of Video Games

Something for myself to keep track of every single freaking video game I’ve played.

Kept in Chronological order, though not entirely accurate. Played as in more than one week/10 hours.

Bolded are games that mean something to me.

Italics means currently still playing.

  1. I don’t Play many Video Games, I did when I was Younger. But I did Play Wow (World of Warcraft) from 2006-2011, so a long time. One of the main reasons I stuck with it was because I was a/the Guild Master for the last 3 or so years that I played… Other than that, I was mostly into Raiding, and Playing with my Guildys.

    DarkJade-

    • Sounds fun. I’ve never played WoW myself, but I’ve heard mainly only good things about it. I’m a huge fan of blizzard so I suppose it’s a pretty amazing experiment.
And yeah, most online games you would play for the people, not the game itself. Community is so important.

      • Blizzard is Awesome, it’s the Reason that I tried Wow in the first place… I had played the Original Diablo, and really Loved it. I also picked up Star Craft II (Never got a chance to play the Original), and Loved it… Stopped playing because I didn’t like Playing it Alone, lol

Yeah, I would have walked away from Wow a few years earlier if not for the People

        DarkJade-

        • PLAY STARCRAFT II WITH ME. OMG. Sorry, I’m hugely addicted so I feel like I had to scream that. Heh. Ignore me. (:
I’m eagerly awaiting Diablo III. It can’t come out fast enough.
          Oh the people…

  2. If you like RTS, and I know it’s a bit old, try “Rising Nations”. It’s based on the boardgame “Risk” and is nicer than “Empire Earth” as you can choose the country you want to invade ;)

    • I’ll definitely take that into consideration! :) I’m playing Starcraft II at the moment which is a wonderful RTS, so I suppose I won’t be checking something else out until I’m bored with that.
And I think I do prefer playing actually Risk – a good board game to pass away the hours.

    • Hehe. A lot of my friends have played that/are playing. My brother does too. As for myself, I’m not really a big fan of dota-style games, but I might be convinced to some day since so many people I know play it. (:
